Bitlayer has announced the integration of the BITVM bridge with Xverse Wallet, a Bitcoin portion that supports adjustable Bitcoin -Testnet -configurations. With this collaboration, users can seamlessly access the Trust-Minimized BitVM bridge through the Xverse portion, which improves the acceptance of BITVM technology in the Bitcoin Decentralized Finance (Defi) space. As a member of the BITVM alliance, Bitlayer also sponsors an open Bitcoin signette network, Bitvmnet, to facilitate the development of applications based on BITVM. In addition, the test network version of the BITVM bridge has been migrated to Bitvmnet, with now new Mint and Unmint functions available. The integration supports Ethereum and expands with Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Plume and Sonic SVM, which contributes to creating a liquidity network with multiple chains.
