Luxury fashion platform SYKY partners with Polygon at L’espace Réaumur for NFT Paris, serving as the event’s official fashion collaborator. This collaboration celebrates SYKY.com’s integration with Polygon PoS.

The event, which kicked off on February 23, 2024, unveiled exclusive SYKY Collective capsule collections curated by digital fashion designer Stephy Fung and mixed-reality fashion house Nextberries. These collections highlighted the intersection of global streetwear culture with the digital world.

The designers debuted their collections, which share similarities in their interpretation of streetwear in relation to their cultural roots. SYKY continues to strengthen its position as a leading innovative fashion platform, bringing together emerging and established designers at the intersection of physical and digital reality.

“We are excited to showcase the diverse styles, ideas and creative ingenuity within the SYKY community at NFT Paris with Polygon Labs,” said Alice Delahunt, CEO and Founder of SYKY. “We spotlight Stephy Fung and Nextberries from our collective, pioneers at the intersection of digital and physical domains in streetwear.
“Our collaboration with Polygon Labs aims to expand this celebration of creativity, make luxury fashion accessible to a broader community and redefine fashion in our ever-evolving world.”

Stephy Fung | The four dragons 四龍

A London-based digital fashion designer known worldwide for her streetwear and athleisure digital designs, Fung’s collection is inspired by her Chinese heritage and pays tribute to this year’s zodiac’s Year of the Dragon.

At its core, her brand is culture-focused and drives the narrative of self-confidence in identity and culture. With NFTs, metaverse ventures and augmented reality explorations, the brand focuses on experimental and future-oriented handling of digital formats.

For her first launch of SYKY Collective, she produced:

Four unique digital fashion items that can be worn in virtual worlds:
Long Dragon 長龍
Pearl Dragon 珠龍 (available exclusively through Polygon)
Yellow Dragon 黃龍 (physical and digital)
Black Dragon黑龍

Nextberries | Ezumezu

Nextberries™ is a luxury phygital fashion house from Nigeria that combines heritage with technology. The Ezumezu collection interweaves the ancient and the contemporary.

Drawn from Igbo culture, the collection symbolizes a communal gathering and embodies the elemental essence of a god: the solidity of the earth (Ala) and the intensity of fire (Amadioha). Nextberries™ manifests this collection as a living expression of ethereal power.

Two unique digital garments:

Ala (available exclusively through Polygon)
Amadioha (physical and digital)

The SYKY x Polygon collaboration

“Our relationship with SYKY is an exciting introduction to the Polygon Ecosystem as it bridges the worlds of luxury fashion and the Web3 community,” said Brian Trunzo, Head of Business Development at Polygon Labs.
“We are excited to amplify SYKY’s mission to empower an entire community of talented digital designers with blockchain solutions to enable more streamlined, efficient and scalable creative energy.”

The integration of Polygon PoS on SYKY represents another major milestone for the digital fashion community. With this integration, SYKY broadens its digital horizons and unlocks access to more than 400 million unique addresses, significantly expanding its reach within the Web3 space. The integration of SYKY also allows the Polygon ecosystem to integrate with mainstream consumer use cases as luxury fashion grows in the Web3 movement.

In addition to its presence at NFT Paris, SYKY was recently seen at London Fashion Week, featuring designers such as KWK and Taskin Goec. This expansion into high-profile fashion events underlines SYKY’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of the industry. As SYKY continues to expand globally, its focus on innovation and inclusivity remains steadfast, promising a future where physical, digital and augmented reality come together seamlessly to redefine the fashion experience.
