HAQQ Network, the blockchain entity powering decentralized ecosystems, will end support for SushiSwap on the L1 chain by the end of 2025. The decision comes as HAQQ shifts to its advanced L2 platform, Haqq Ethiq. As HAQQ Network revealed on The development also highlights the need for liquidity providers to extract positions within the current time frame to ensure uninterrupted access to assets.

📢 Announcement: SushiSwap support on HAQQ L1 will end by the end of the year.

Liquidity providers must withdraw their positions within the available withdrawal period.

HAQQ will end support for SushiSwap on L1 during the move to Haqq Ethtiq L2

The discontinuation of SushiSwap support on L1 of HAQQ Network marks the shift to Haqq Ethiq L2. However, HAQQ L1 will continue its operations as a permissionless and open chain. Even then, SushiSwap swap and liquidity routing will remain unavailable after the cut-off date.

As a result, the HAQQ L1-based liquidity providers must remove LP positions from the pools before they ultimately cease to function for pricing, trading and other similar activities through SushiSwap. HAQQ has also assured consumers that their money is safe on-chain, while timely extraction is advised to avoid last-minute complications or congestion. This move underlines a systematic evolution in the network lifecycle, allowing HAQQ to concentrate economic activity and liquidity in a relatively efficient and scalable infrastructure.

Improving consumer experience and scalability, with cheaper and faster transactions

According to HAQQ Network, by focusing on the next generation Haqq Ethiq L2, it is poised to enable the seamless tradability, composability and listing of assets across various liquidity platforms and AMMs. The development is expected to deliver rapid implementation, reduce costs and deliver an inclusive consumer experience. Ultimately, with the transition in question, HAQQ improves its position to deliver a relatively user-centric, scalable and more efficient blockchain environment.
