GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced that it is bringing Arc8 GameFest to the player community. Defined as being biggest gaming eventArc8 GameFest starts on November 16, 2023 and ends on November 30, 2023. The mobile gaming event will ultimately give away a share of $120,000 to the winners. The reward will come in the form of tokens and NFTs, not exactly as real money.
Players interested in participating have until November 13, 2023 to purchase their GameFest Pass on OpenSea.
Sponsors and partners supporting Arc8 GameFest include Crypto Unicorns, Hooked Protocol, REVV Motorsport and Mocaverse. GAMEE introduces Arc8 GameFest and is in line with its commitment to making it easy for players to use Web3. The fact that they are rewarded for their participation adds to the general interest.
Collecting the GameFest Pass is mandatory, allowing players to participate, play and compete for prizes. A single Arc8 GameFest Pass costs 0.008 ETH, or ~$15. Payments can be made with fiat currency or ETH. Fiat currency can also be used to purchase in-game consumables and boosts. Alternatively, the mentioned in-game items can be purchased via GMEE, Arc8’s native token.
Arc8 supports Beasties NFTs that give players with multiple GameFest Passes a greater chance of winning prizes.
Additionally, the Elite Arcade Gaming Zone debuted. GAMEE has been awarded the segment with $20,000 in rewards from the total prize pool. Only persons in possession of a valid Arc8 GameFest Pass will have access to the Elite Arcade Gaming Zone.
Gaming partners for the event include Wanderers, Highstreet, ForestKnight, BoomLand, KDArena and Unstoppable Domains, to name a few.
Meanwhile, another subsidiary of Animoca Brands, Forj official, makes rounds to open the application for $APE Accelerator. Forj allows successful applicants to launch their Web3 business idea with the ApeCoin community, which has nearly 200,000 members. Harry Liu, the Chief Executive Officer of $APE Accelerator, called it a new beginning on the road to innovation, adding that they now welcome the founders of Web3 to take their ecosystem to new heights.
Yat Siu, the executive chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands, said such community-driven initiatives reflect the ethos of Web3 entrepreneurship.
In a slightly different way, this sentiment is also reflected in the Arc8 GameFest. GAMEE is an initiative by Animoca Brands to enable participants to determine how they want to interact with the content. In addition to rewarding winners with NFTs and tokens as prizes, this will motivate them to stick to their innate gameplay impulses.
