Banxchange extends the $XRP Go beyond established payment and tokenization use cases by building a decentralized publishing network for journalists and content creators.
In a post on X, the platform said its BXE token will support direct payments to contributors worldwide. The project focuses on the global media and entertainment sector, which is valued at approximately $2.5 trillion, while placing creator compensation directly on blockchain rails.
BXE connects publishing with Onchain rewards
BXE is issued natively on the $XRP Ledger and serves as a reward tool for Banx Media. Writers create an account, connect an XRPL-compatible wallet, and then submit articles for editorial review.
Once an article is approved, the platform transfers BXE directly to the author’s wallet. Banxchange says the process removes custodial payment accounts and can settle rewards without traditional banking intermediaries.
The token has a fixed supply of 500 million. The said feature is limited to content rewards, with no staking, governance or returns mechanism included in the current design.
Notably, transactions are processed within seconds and can be monitored via a $XRP Ledger explorer. This gives writers a public record of each payment, while allowing them to retain control of the tokens once received.

Platform focuses on a different media payment model
Traditional publishing platforms often rely on advertising revenue, subscriptions, or delayed payments from contributors. Banxchange uses blockchain settlement to create a separate structure in which approved content generates an instant digital reward.
In particular, the platform’s writer program allows contributors to publish articles in areas such as cryptocurrency, finance, and blockchain. Reward amounts vary depending on quality, readership and level of participation.
In addition, the system includes progressive author categories. Writers progress from beginner level to intermediate and experienced levels based on the number of articles published, with higher levels receiving larger reward multipliers.
Banxchange has also integrated with Xaman Wallet and partnered with GetBlock for the XRPL node infrastructure. These links support wallet access, network reliability, and the distribution of BXE payments as publishing activity grows.

$XRP Price moves separately from network expansion
In the meantime, $XRP recently fell below $1.20 after meeting resistance around $1.28. The token remained below its 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages, reflecting pressure on the broader cryptocurrency market.
That price movement occurred as Ripple and independent XRPL projects expanded its real-world applications. Ripple recently invested in Flutterwave to support it $RLUSD payments across Africa, while Banxchange applies the ledger to journalism and creator compensation.
Yet the two developments bring different assets and business models. $RLUSD supports stablecoin settlement, while BXE handles rewards within the Banxchange publishing ecosystem.
Banxchange’s progress therefore represents an additional XRPL use case rather than a direct signal for it $XRP‘s short-term market price. Growth will depend on writer participation, article activity and the number of payments processed through the platform.
