Amazon Prime subscribers can now claim free in-game card packs for the online trading card game Gods unleashedaccording to an announcement from Immutable Games.

The Amazon Prime Gaming Portal has the first monthly reward up for grabs, containing 5 Rare Core Packs and one Core Domain Pack that Prime subscribers can claim. According to a blog postGods Unchained will run the promotion for six months, with a new collection of free in-game content available to claim each month.

While Gods Unchained is built around it NFTs struck on Immutable X, a Ethereum scale network, a representative from Immutable confirmed Declutter‘s GG says the cards in the free packs for Amazon Prime subscribers are not classified as NFTs. They are in-game cards that are assigned to the user’s immutable account.

However, they can be converted into NFTs. Gods unleashed allows players to fuse two or more together from the same common ‘core’ in-game cards to a higher quality NFT version, which can be traded via the Immutable X network. So while Amazon isn’t giving away NFTs in this case, players may still be able to pick up NFTs from the offering.

The partnership with Amazon coincides with the launch of Gods Unchained’s second in-game season, titled Far Horizons, which introduces new gameplay mechanics and an expansion card set titled Tides of Fate.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming,” said Daniel Paez, vice president and executive producer of Gods Unchained at Immutable Games. “Season 2 offers a new chapter in the game’s ever-evolving story that will introduce sweeping changes to the meta and player strategies.”

The 142-card Tides of Fate expansion adds new abilities called God Powers and a “manasurge” feature that boosts cards under certain conditions, in keeping with the set’s Atlantis theme, Paez explained. The set also promotes an in-game storyline focusing on a battle between mech and dragon factions over powerful crystals.

Every game on Ethereum Scaler is immutable on the Epic Games Store

Additionally, Gods Unchained will help support content creators through a new program that will provide up to 6,000 GODS Tokens (currently worth approximately $2,550) per month in in-game tokens as a reward to each eligible creator for sharing videos and strategies, according to the announcement.

Gods Unchained is currently available on Windows and Mac and is scheduled for release release on iOS and Android with a soft launch later this year.
