XRP Cafe, a prominent NFT project on the XRP ledger (XRPL), now ranks as the leading NFT marketplace in terms of secondary sales volume on a 30-day scale.
According to data from XRPL explorer Bithomp, XRP Cafe has led every other XRPL NFT project by a crushing margin in 30-day transaction volume, especially in secondary sales.
XRP Cafe Leaders in NFT Secondary Sales
Bithomp statistics showed XRP Cafe recorded 52,909 NFTs minted and 11,845 units sold. This figure in secondary sales represents a 79.75% increase over the number documented on October 15.
Collectively, XRP Cafe’s sales volume translated to 336,939 XRP and a dollar value of over $196 million.
Meanwhile, OnXRP, the closest XRPL NFT project to XRP Cafe, recorded 2,166 secondary sales and 19,396 minted NFTs. OnXRP had an XRP sales volume of 301,048, worth over $175 million.
However, Sologenic, the third competitor in NFT secondary sales, recorded a meager number of 98 sales with an XRP sales volume of 30,464. Given XRP Cafe’s remarkable performance against competing NFT marketplaces, the project team took to the X platform to commemorate this achievement.

However, while XRP Cafe led the way in 30-day secondary sales volume, the project lagged behind when comparing the benchmark for primary sales. For context, primary sales refer to the initial sale of newly created NFTs directly by the creator, while secondary sales refer to collectors reselling existing NFTs.
OnXRP leads in NFT primary sales
According to Bithomp statisticsOnXRP has achieved 9,342 NFT sales in the last 30 days with a sales volume worth $61,307.36. Meanwhile, XRP Cafe failed to reach second place in primary sales despite recording a significantly higher number of NFTs minted.
DeFi platform OpulenceX was OnXRP’s biggest competitor. It saw a sales volume of $44,500.36. XRP Cafe ranked third on the list with a primary sales volume of $34,514.11. Furthermore, in terms of all-time primary sales, XRP Cafe dropped to fourth place in the rankings, while OnXRP retained its first position.

It’s worth mentioning that the highlighted XRPL projects are making headway in the NFT scene, thanks the implementation of XLS-20 in October 2022, bringing NFT to the blockchain.
