Wormhole’s Guardian Network is a set of validators that secure and verify cross-chain transactions on the Wormhole protocol. The platform revealed the development on its official X social media account.
In a recent post, Wormhole noted that the integration marks a significant upgrade to its in-depth security plan. In addition, it is also expanding its zero-knowledge research efforts. This ensures more consistent reliability and security across the multi-chain Wormhole ecosystem.
The Guardian Network contributes significantly to the reliability and security of the Wormhole platform by facilitating cross-chain asset transactions and communications. The integration of Google Cloud into the Guardian Network provides redundancy through the powerful computing infrastructure. Moreover, it also reduces downtime by directly connecting to validator nodes that fail.
