The world’s world’s top -like nightclub has opened what the owners say is the first permanent art gallery in a club, as part of an attempt to combine the nightlife with digital art.
Hï Ibiza, the world best club called by DJ MAG For four consecutive years, the Gallery unveiled this summer together with the Night League and London Digital Art Collective W1 curatels, based in Ibiza. The exhibition combines digital and physical works, interactive installations and tailor-made display technology.
“From cinematic design to surrealistic architecture and cyber punk stories tell, the gallery presents a composite selection of the most influential digital artists of today,” the organizers said in a statement.
The Hï Ibiza Digital Art installation is part of a wider push to bring digital and NFT art to physical locations. Bright Moments opened an NFT gallery in Venice, California, in 2021 and Web3 NYC Gallery followed in 2022 with a Genesis NFT exhibition in New York.
The space opens with a mural of the British graffiti artist Mr Cenz at the entrance of the club. Visitors can scan the mural with the W1 smartphone app to reveal an augmented-reality animation. Within his works two sculptures of the British graphic designer and album cover Kideight-known to collaborate with Gucci Mane, Fabolous, 2 Chainz and Frans Montana and a six-foot green Gummy Bear by American Street Artist Whisbe.
Other recommended artists are Annibale Siconolfi, Ash Thorp, Pieple, Mad Dog Jones, Six N. Five and Shiro. The Line -Up revolves around the two weeks during the summer season.
W1 Curates designed the main gallery space to adapt to the color palette of every artist, with the help of large -scale projections and compelling lighting.
The gallery launch includes talks from W1 Curates, Seedfrase, Farokh President and co-founder of DecryptThe parent company Dastan, Bitcoin historian and artist Smashtoshi, and artist Trevor Jones, followed by a DJ in the Wilde Hoek.
The exhibition contains “advanced digital artists in addition to extra physical works that encourage guests to explore, pause and make contact with the art outside the dance floor,” said the organizers.
