Trevor Jonesrenowned artist in the world of Web3, recently presented his most ambitious Ordinals NFT collection yet: the CryptoAngels.

After painting Bitcoin-themed artworks since 2017, this new collection is inspired by his Bitcoin Angel, with the open edition breaking records in 2021. Specifically, he sold 4,158 editions for $3.2 million in just seven minutes.

Since then, Jones has a solid community and a brand around his work and the Bitcoin Angel motif, including the annual Castle Parties dedicated to art, culture and charity.

Let’s see all the details below.

NFT Collection CryptoAngels by Trevor Jones: From Archangels to Ordinal Numbers

As expected, Trevor Jones has enthusiastically announced his latest collection, the CryptoAngels, which marks a new chapter in the world of digital art linked to the blockchain.

Known for his artwork celebrating Bitcoin, Jones inaugurated this collection with a so-called preparatory phase Archangelssold for 87.9 ETH ($335,291).

These collectible packs included a physical bronze sculpture featuring the classic Bitcoin Angel, a 3D NFT avatar, and an Archangel Ordinal, all of which quickly sold out.

The second phase of the collection will be launched on August 7 and will be available for minting OrdinalsBot. It consists of 7,777 unique CryptoAngels in appearance, each personally named by Jones, and initially accessible via a whitelist.

Based on the symbols of the constellations on their shields, the CryptoAngels are divided into 21 cohorts, each correlated with one of the gatherers of Archangels from the previous phase. This is how sub-communities are created within the collection.

Jones: ‘my tribute to the community’

The artist Trevor Jones stated the following:

“Having been personally involved with Bitcoin since 2017, the ethics surrounding it quickly inspired me in my crypto art journey. I have followed Ordinals’ growth since its inception and the CryptoAngels collection is my tribute to a community that welcomed me with open arms and gave me the opportunity to bring my Bitcoin Angel motif onto the chain where it was always destined to be .”

In addition to the main collection, 21 angels are also available to stock at the special price of €7. Basefor a limited time.

Collectors can play with these digital collectibles in the exclusive video game “Dante’s Pixel Inferno.”

In other words, a retro arcade-style game that challenges players to guide their angel through the Nine Circles of Fiat Hell, collecting bitcoin and earning other rewards. Each angel has unique skills and weapons.

The whitelisted opportunities are only available through community partnerships, to Bitcoin Angel OE and Trevor’s Ascended Angels holders, and through weekly giveaways.
