Talisman, the multi-chain crypto wallet, has announced the launch of Talisman Quests, a gamified experience aimed at increasing user engagement and education within the Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem, according to information shared with Finbold on June 3.
After a successfully completed beta phase, Quests invites crypto users to create a profile and progress through different levels by earning experience points (XP) and unlocking rewards.
This interactive journey includes a hidden storyline that gradually reveals itself as users progress through the game.
A gamified Web3 experience
Jonathan Dunne, co-founder and chief technology officer at Talisman, commented on the often inaccessible nature of Web3, saying:

With our new Quests app, we’re making onboarding fun and rewarding, encouraging users to explore all the interesting projects and apps this space has to offer.”

Talisman aims to remove some of these barriers to entry by gaming the blockchain experience and educating traders with Quests. Dunne further added:

Competitive Web3 gaming with Talisman Quests
In Quests, the Wallet Mining feature allows users to generate rewards based on the tokens they own, with staking activities providing XP multipliers. The rewards can be claimed every four hours.
Completing missions between ecosystems through Quests also allows users to earn XP, increased points and rewards.
Additionally, users can earn 5% of a friend’s total XP when they sign up via a referral link.
Each month, Talisman introduces a new top rank, pushing the ‘Frontier’ as users strive to seize the Scepter, follow it to The Tower, and ultimately claim Talisman’s ultimate power.
Getting started with Talisman missions
To get started with Talisman Quests, users can download the wallet at talisman.xyz and create a profile.
There is also an option to import an account or recovery phrase from existing wallets such as Metamask, Rabby and Trust.
