Polyhedra Network releases zkBridge NEP-3 proposal for integration with Merlin Chain
It was stated that the 3rd zkBridge Network Expansion Proposal signals a huge step, improving Polyhedra’s reach and capabilities. Merlin Chain works as a Bitcoin L2 solution. It joins a ZK-Rollup network, on-chain BTC scam-proof modules, and a decentralized network of oracles. The respective advanced integration focuses on strengthening Bitcoin’s native assets, products and protocols on L1.
She wants to do this via Merlin Chain’s L2 network. As a result, Merlin Chain is trying to improve Bitcoin’s features again. It aims to unlock exclusive capabilities and increase the usability of Bitcoin within decentralized applications. The zkBridge integration provides additional support for the Merlin chain with the zkLightClient LayerZero Decentralized Verification Network.
The respective additional support layer will improve the security and functionality of transfers and interactions in the Merlin Chain ecosystem. It also facilitates streamlined interactions between chains and ensures the integrity of data transactions. This makes it an important addition to the integration. According to Polyhedra Network, the Merlin Chain integration with zkBridge can contribute substantially to the evolution and growth of the blockchain and Bitcoin ecosystems.
