Poly Network has announced the complete discontinuation of its services. Poly Bridge’s cross-chain services and other services will be discontinued effective September 30, 2024.
In April, the team announced that it planned to suspend cross-chain services, halt new deployments and only support existing partners. The decision to close completely was made based on changing market conditions. The team remains available to help projects transition from the platform and to answer any questions or concerns.
Poly Network faced its third major exploit this year when an attacker managed to exfiltrate more than $3 million worth of various tokens through Flamingo Finance. In response, eight of the attacker’s addresses were frozen, including four suspected exchange deposit addresses.
