NFT sales are up 11% this week while buyers are up 95% in the latest data; ETH dominates with $85.43 million in sales

According to the latest data, non-fungible token (NFT) sales for this week are up 11.60% compared to the previous week. In addition, the number of individual buyers who purchased NFTs in the past seven days has increased by 95.20% to a total of 664,096 buyers.

This week’s NFT sales see a modest increase of over 11%, Bitcoin NFTs still hold the second position

According to data from cryptoslam.io on June 20, 2023, there has been a modest increase in NFT sales over the past week, with a registered total of just over $146 million. This represents an increase of approximately 11.60% compared to the previous seven days.

Despite a slight 1.99% drop in the number of NFT transactions, which reached 2,271,293 last week, there has been a more than 95% increase in the number of NFT buyers. Statistics show that about 664,096 buyers have been registered in the past seven days.

Seven-day NFT sales volume on June 20, 2023, according to cryptoslam.io statistics.

Of total NFT sales worth $146 million, a significant portion of $85.43 million was attributed to ETH-based NFTs, while $21.38 million came from BTC-focused NFTs. It is worth noting that Bitcoin-based NFTs have consistently maintained their second position among blockchains in terms of sales for several consecutive weeks.

Volume and transactions by market share across major marketplaces, according to @hildobby’s Dune Analytics stats. The orange share represents the Blur NFT marketplace, while the blue portion of the pie chart represents Opensea’s share on June 20, 2023.

Notably, ETH-based NFT sales peaked at 18.11% within a week, while BTC-based NFT sales saw a 10.84% ​​increase compared to the previous week. Rounding out the top five blockchains for weekly NFT sales, we have Solana, BNB Chain, and Mythos behind ETH and BTC.

This week, the leading position for NFT sales belongs to the collection called Uncategorized ordinals, which brought in $12.18 million in sales. Closely followed by the Grails II collection sold by the luxury auction house Sotheby’s, which brought in approximately $7.67 million in sales.

Completing the list of the top five collections are Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Dmarket, and Gods Unchained NFT ticket sales. Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) and Azuki are hot on the heels of the top five contenders.

In addition, of the five most expensive NFT sales this week, two notable NFTs from the Sotheby’s Grails II collection secured places on the list, with top sales of $5.4 million. In addition, two NFTs originated from the Uncategorized ordinal numbers collection, while one NFT originated from the BNB chain.
