It is with great enthusiasm that KuCoin, a prominent global cryptocurrency exchange, announces the findings of the second edition of the KuCoin Campus Survey, which was conducted during the Vietnam Technology & Investment Summit (VTIS) 2024. KuCoin’s commitment to cultivating this crucial market is reaffirmed by the findings of a survey conducted from December 3 to 4, 2024, with a total of 926 participants. The results highlight the blossoming interest in blockchain technology among Vietnam’s younger generation.

A significant number of respondents (92%) are excited about the future of digital assets, which is highlighted by the survey, a key initiative under KuCoin Campus. The poll shows that there is a strong and favorable feeling towards cryptocurrencies. Notably, 82% of respondents are considering a job related to blockchain technology, indicating that there is a growing talent pool hungry for opportunity and advancement within the sector.
Clearly, Vietnam is of strategic importance to both KuCoin and the larger cryptocurrency community as a whole. This is because 68 percent of participants reported a “very strong interest” in blockchain technology, making Vietnam an essential center for the development of crypto innovations and community involvement. Furthermore, 73% of respondents now own cryptocurrencies, demonstrating that the sector is mature and ready for further expansion and adoption.
Additionally, the survey revealed a significant preference for a variety of blockchain professions, with data analytics (24 percent), marketing (22 percent) and business development (21 percent) being the most sought-after and desired roles. It is very useful to have these insights as they highlight the areas that have the most potential and interest among the workforce of the future.
