A prominent NFT and Ordinals platform Gamma recently announced the exclusive integration of both Bitcoin Layer 1 Ordinals and Stacks Layer 2 NFT. In this regard, Gamma now offers trading of both Stacks Layer 2 NFTs and Bitcoin Layer 1 Ordinals in one seamless application. This milestone achievement elevates Gamma’s status in the digital art sector in the case of Bitcoin.

Gamma provides the earliest unified forum combining Bitcoin L1 with Stacks L2 NFTs

The project aims to revolutionize the entire Bitcoin ecosystem. Customers can now link Bitcoin Ordinals wallets and Stacks Layer 2 wallets. This reportedly creates a combined collector profile. The respective integrated experience allows assets from both aforementioned ecosystems to be collected, managed and displayed in 1 application. This potentially streamlines the user experience across chains.

Gamma releases a spectrum of the latest consumer interfaces that take into account the needs of both art-oriented collectors and active dealers. Furthermore, the traders will enjoy access to insightful statistics, market data opinions, lists, and so on. Art lovers can benefit from a gallery-style showcase, highlighting the beauty of each exclusive work of art. The beta version of the platform will initially facilitate Gamma Summer Pass holders.

It will grant them primary access on the 17the of September. The release takes place in collaboration with Xverse. It ensures that consumers can enjoy a smooth experience when managing wallets in Bitcoin Layer 2 and Layer 1. This integration allows collectors to gain more control over their assets. Moreover, they can easily shift non-fungible tokens between different layers.

The Stackks Nakamoto Upgrade results in a substantial decrease in block times from ten minutes to just a few seconds. Gamma is focused on becoming a featured player in the upcoming NFT resurgence. This upgrade will potentially reignite excitement around the NFT space, especially with the release of Stacks Layer 2. The integration will allow customers to bridge the Ordinals between Stacks Layer 2 and Bitcoin Layer 1 in an unprecedented way.
