Enigmatic inscription from the Bitcoin Ordinals collection shrouded in mystery

Introduced in January 2023, Bitcoin Ordinals quickly caught the attention of the cryptocurrency world. In just a few months, more than 10 million ordinal numbers were registered, bearing a striking similarity to well-known NFTs such as Bored Apes and other analogous cartoons or artistic creations.

A notable addition emerged from this collection, referencing the enigmatic figure behind Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.

Destruction leads to creation

On October 31, 2023, to mark the 15th anniversary of Nakamoto’s Bitcoin Whitepaper release, a set of 111 distinctive and compelling ordinal numbers were inscribed. Accompanying them was an image with a poem dedicated to the creator of Bitcoin, entitled ‘Destruction Breeds Creation’.

Subsequently, Bitcoin enthusiasts have embraced sentiment against the banking system and the belief that fiat money is being devalued due to governments’ indiscriminate printing of banknotes and minting of coins. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has a fixed supply, impervious to manipulation by any nation state or government agency.

The recently introduced Ordinals collection has created an atmosphere shrouded in mystery, similar to Satoshi Nakamoto, who disappeared into the ether, creating uncertainty as to whether Nakamoto is an individual or a group.

Sending a clear anti-Fiat message

Ord.io features anonymous children’s inscriptions, which are full of symbolism and openly reject the establishment and its harmful control over money. 100 x $100 bills, 10 x $10 bills and 1 x $1 bill were burned by their creators in the name of ‘Bitcoin Art’.

Blockchain Reporter believes that the makers of these particular Ordinals would like to send a clear message to the Federal Reserve that their bills or notes have no value.

The message comes at the most opportune time as their popularity is once again increasing at a rapid pace, which is promising for BTC, its network, OGs, purists, and regular users. Blockchain Reporter will look into this. It can be very special!
