The US Department of Justice (DOJ) charges a group of people who are reportedly stolen millions of dollars in the post service checks.

In a new press release, the law firm of the United States for the southern district of New York says that it takes six people Michael Edwards, Shakeemo Hill, William Hill, Alixandria Lauture, Shuron Malone and Carlos Mercado-in related to a multi-million dollar2 and July 202.

Authorities claim that they have operated an advanced schedule in which buying or obtaining keys to unlock postboxes in an attempt to steal E -Mail, bank cards and other bank account details.

The group and their cocoon spirits would then change the details of the checks by using digital means to change the details and print them on the Check base or by using chemicals to remove the original ink.

The leader of the group, Edwards, was mainly planned how to obtain the post keys, while William Hill, Shakeemo Hill and Mercado used the keys to steal e -mail from collecting windows. The other two members were involved in recruiting people they knew to deliver them to Private Bank account data they could use.

The group placed “millions of dollars” on checks for sale on a message request. They also deposited millions of fraudulent checks on accounts at National Banks on the east coast, although no specific amounts were announced.

As explained by the American lawyer Jay Clayton,

“As claimed, the six defendants today found their pockets by stealing checks intended for hard -working New Yorkers and others. Together with our partners at the Post Inspectorate, we will fight to protect the integrity of the American postal system – a public service on which millions of Americans trust items of financial, professional and personal interests.”
