The bored Ape Yacht Club (Bayc) was in the news again this weekend for all the wrong reasons. Criticisms of their decadent expenditure, delayed metaille and gullible members earned hundreds of thousands of views.
Firstly, a new criticism of the countless thefts of bored monkey holders became viral. Laughing at the thought of an obvious phishing website who convinced a bored monkey holder to enter their private key, the clap trap earned thousands of likes.
This criticism that is heard about many successful thefts of bored monkeys by even moderately advanced black hat code servants. For many years, gullible Bayc members have voluntarily clicked on the buttons in their wallet, visited malignant websites, cases for Ponzi schedules and believed in authentic messages about Airdrops or migrations.
It has become something of a current joke in the crypto community to have fun with Bayc members for poor operational safety (OPSEC) and inexperienced crypto custody.

Hundreds of millions of expenses, still no bored monkey club
Another criticism of Bayc went viral this weekend. Estimation of the costs of the metaillese and other marketing spending that are still released at nearly half a billion dollars, someone simply asked why the club had not simply built a physical club for a fraction of those costs.
The obvious question earned 300,000 impressions and hundreds of competing comments.
