Cluster Protocol, a famous Web3 infrastructure entity, has partnered with Pundi AI, a renowned data infrastructure company for AI training. The partnership seeks to develop the earliest end-to-end decentralized AI training infrastructure. According to Cluster Protocol’s official press release, development is about to incorporate advanced tokenized datasets into a distributed compute stack, removing dependence on centrally controlled intermediaries. The merger of the technologies of both platforms therefore focuses on unlocking the full life cycle of AI development in the chain.

Cluster Protocol and Pundi AI work together to integrate tokenized data and distributed computing power
The partnership between Cluster Protocol and Pundi AI aims to unveil a fully decentralized AI training model. Central to this step is the effort to combine data and computing power, a long-standing challenge within the AI landscape. While decentralized ecosystems like Cluster Protocol have fully unlocked widely distributed GPU resources, the decentralized data layer has remained largely opaque and centralized. With this in mind, Pundi AI offers a tokenized data economy developed from human-annotated datasets. Furthermore, with over 122,000 datasets, numerous Dataset Tokens created, and over 28,000 contributors, the platform has become a popular name when it comes to Web3 AI infrastructure. This integration aims to create a streamlined pipeline between data sourcing and AI implementation.
At the same time, the partnership will give developers access to high-quality datasets with provenance tracking, while using decentralized computing resources for model training. This removes the requirement for conventional cloud providers, along with introducing a relatively permissionless and transparent alternative.
