After the decline from 2025, the XRP price has fallen more than 50% from the cycle peak and is struggling below $1.5. The recent recovery has seen some improvement in price action, but the sustainability of the rally remains to be seen. As the sideways action continues, the question remains whether the XRP price can reach $3 again in 2026, which would be an increase of more than 100% from current levels.
XRP price will not rise above $2.3
The Crypto Predictions website shows the possible trajectories for digital assets and the predictions for the XRP price are not particularly bullish. While there expects there to be some increase there will be no major increase in the XRP price for the cryptocurrency.

Instead of a continued increase, the forecast shows fluctuating price performance for the coin. For example, the forecast shows that the maximum price that XRP will reach in the month of April is $2,277, and interestingly, this is the highest predicted level for the year 2026.
While the price is expected to rise above $2, the average price prediction boils down to XRP continuing to fall below $2. A double-digit increase is likely because the price is expected to be higher than where it is now. However, there are no indications that a rally above $3 will occur.
CoinCodex forecast shows a similar trajectory
Just like the Crypto Predictions website, the CoinCodex website predictions that the XRP price is unlikely to reach $3 by the year 2026. The coming months are expected to be mildly bullish and see possible double-digit forecasts that will send the price higher. But the majority of forecasts still remain below $2.

However, as the year draws to a close, the CoinCodex website shows that the XRP price will eventually rise above $2, potentially reaching a maximum price of $2.25. This would be a 57.28% increase from where the cryptocurrency is currently trading.
As for when the XRP price could reach $3, the website says it can be a long waitwhich shows a two-year period until 2028. Then, the XRP price is expected to possibly cross $3 in early 2028, in January, to a maximum price of $3.39. But the rest of the year is expected to be below $3.
