Blockchain.com and Ondo Finance have announced the expansion of their partnership to bring on-chain real-world assets to Europe. Eligible users across the European Economic Area can now directly access regulated, tokenized US stocks and exchange-traded funds through the Blockchain.com DeFi wallet.
The offering builds on a rollout launched last year in Africa and South America, where more than 200 tokenized US stocks and ETFs were made available to local users.
The integration will allow users in 30 EEA countries to buy, sell and hold tokenized US stocks and ETFs within a non-custodial wallet environment, without opening traditional investment accounts. Asset management is handled within the existing Blockchain.com Wallet interface.
The partnership also extends to tokenized commodities. Ondo Global Markets offers on-chain exposure to precious metals ETFs, including products linked to gold and silver, in addition to its stock and ETF offerings.
