Based on the latest international rankings and weekly figures, sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) increased 17.66% last week, amounting to just over $306 million in sales. This increase marks a jump from last week’s 16.8% increase in NFT sales, with the leading blockchains in terms of volume – Ethereum and Bitcoin – both experiencing growth over the past seven days.

NFT sales are recovering strongly after a two-week dip

Sales in the NFT market saw more growth this week, with a total of approximately $306,079,000 in sales, with Ethereum leading the way, with $145.91 million of that amount. Sales of Ethereum-based NFTs increased 8.58% from the previous week, driven by notable projects such as Pandora and Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).

Sales of Bitcoin-based NFTs saw a significant increase, helping the blockchain regain its position as the second highest in terms of weekly sales volume. This week, the blockchain recorded revenue of $70.96 million, as reported by cryptoslam.io, an increase of 75.20% from the previous week.

The surge in Bitcoin-centric NFT sales was primarily driven by a significant 83.9% increase in Uncategorized Ordinals transactions compared to the previous week. On the other hand, Solana’s NFT sales totaled $48.81 million, which is a slight decrease of 5.54% from last week’s figures.

Mythos Chain, in fourth place, posted just over $7 million in sales, representing 11.82% growth this week. Similarly, NFT sales on BNB Chain rose, rising 92.07% and amassing just over $7 million within the seven-day period.

Additionally, both Arbitrum and Stargaze have experienced significant increases in their sales over the past week. The top digital collectible collection of the week with the highest sales volume was Pandora, with sales of $35.34 million. However, the compilation’s turnover is 24.11% lower than last week.

BAYC’s revenue increased by a significant 183.47% over the seven-day period. Bitcoin’s Nodemonkes collected $7.47 million, up 239.63% this week. Finally, in fifth place, Mythos’ Dmarket raised $6.89 million, up 11.77%.

The Pandora Collection had the most expensive NFT sale this week, with Pandora #57023 fetching $1.55 million. Still, several Cryptopunks and BAYC NFTs also changed hands, including Cryptopunk #3167, which fetched $449,869, and Bored Ape #7616, which fetched $330,633.

On the Polygon platform, Babyloongnft #26633 was purchased for $298,690, while Bitcoin saw a notable sale on Friday with Protoshroom #6 fetching $156,119. Additionally, Nodemonke #f976d21 achieved $108,771, exchanging hands for 2.1357 BTC. Chains like Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Cardano also posted some high-value NFT sales during this period.
