W3.io, an operating system for autonomous finance, and Space and Time, a data blockchain platform, have joined forces to deliver a verifiable infrastructure designed for autonomous financial workflows, now running in production and processing more than 200,000 workflows daily.
The partnership addresses the accountability gap created when AI agents make financial decisions faster than any human can track them.
“You need a database built for accountability. Period,” said Porter Stowell, CEO of W3.io, in a statement. “When AI agents move real money between multiple vendors, the question is not whether you have a workflow. The question is whether you can prove what happened. That’s what this collaboration delivers.”
W3.io focuses on orchestrating and verifying financial workflows created and executed by AI agents. Meanwhile, Space and Time secures the data layer using blockchain technology, ensuring all stored data remains accurate and resistant to tampering.
The result is a two-tier verification architecture that tracks both execution and data. This creates a continuous, fraud-proof file from the first workflow step to final settlement, giving companies a reliable audit trail.
According to Nate Holiday, co-founder of Space and Time, companies are unlikely to entrust real financial transactions to AI systems unless there is a full and defensible audit trail for every action taken.
He suggested that this requirement for verifiable accountability will become the key factor separating widespread financial platforms from those that fail to move beyond pilot programs.
The system has been validated through its use in Creatorland, a platform that supports more than 100,000 creators. It processes large volumes of transactions, such as payments and compensation, demonstrating that the infrastructure can meet real-world demands.
