- Cronos One simplifies Web3 onboarding with a single, unified gateway.
- Cronos Verify adds trusted, privacy-protecting identity controls for dApps and users.
Cronos Labs has launched a new unified onboarding platform, Cronos Onedesigned to simplify the way users enter and interact with the Cronos ecosystem. With this, the platform brings multiple onboarding steps, such as bridging, wallet funding and verification, into a single interface. The goal is to make Web3 better by making access to the ecosystem easier, more secure, and more verifiable.
Cronos Labs is already busy with the ongoing Cronos x402 Hackathon, where developers are actively building agent-driven and automated transaction systems. Many of these experiments rely on identity signals to enable secure programmable payments and AI-enabled workflows. This is why the introduction of Cronos One will improve things, as layers of verification become increasingly relevant as operations in the chain become more autonomous.
Developers face increasing risks around Sybil attacks and exploitation as agent-based interactions expand. Verifiable identity frameworks are now seen as a necessary foundation for scaling automation without sacrificing security or fairness.
Cronos Verify introduces privacy-preserving identity certificates
An important feature of Cronos One is Cronos Verify. This is a gasless on-chain attestation that connects a wallet to a verified Crypto.com account without revealing any personal information. Instead of publishing identity information, the system provides cryptographic proof of verification.
On-chain attestations are increasingly used to support loyalty programs, gated utilities, and cross-dApp reputation signals. By integrating authentication at the onboarding level, Cronos aims to provide blockchain developers with a reliable way to distinguish real users from automated or duplicate wallets.
Several ecosystems have already integrated Cronos Verify. Some of them include applications including Moonlander, Delphi, Tectonic and VVS Finance. Verified users will have access to benefits such as fee discounts, gas-free transactions, exclusive launch allocations and reward vouchers, while dApps will gain greater certainty over incentive distribution.
The infrastructure continues the Cronos roadmap
Cronos One also builds on recent network upgrades. This includes reducing transaction costs, faster block times, and comprehensive identity-based tools for decentralized applications. Cronos Labs described the launch as a step forward on its 2025-2026 roadmap. This is just part of Cronos’ 2026 plan to improve infrastructure, as we previously reported.
Mirko Zhao, head of Cronos Labs, said:
“Cronos One gives users a hassle-free starting point and gives developers the personality verification they need to build fairer incentives, stronger loyalty, and smarter on-chain applications.”
Cronos One is now live one.cronos.orgwith Cronos Labs confirming that additional partners and verification-based tools will be introduced in future phases as adoption grows.
