BeatFarm brings music to Bitcoin with very first native NFT protocol

Boston, MA-BeatFarm has launched the world’s first Bitcoin-Native Music NFT protocol, so that artists can directly on the most decentralized blockchain in the world, act and earn money.

–

In contrast to Ethereum or Sidechain-based platforms, BeatFarm builds the base layer of Bitcoin with the Bitcoin computer protocol. That means that numbers beaten on BeatFarm are not only tokens – they are unchangeable, demonstrable ownership of digital assets with royalties and rights that are hard coded in Bitcoin itself.
“Other platforms force Bitcoin in Ethereum-shaped molds. BeatFarm builds directly from Bitcoin’s basic principles: sovereignty, censorship resistance and sustainability. This is a much-needed cultural and economic shift.”

Ian Anderson, board advisor at BeatFarm
How it works

Bitcoin-Native Music NFTS: Tracks are hit directly on Bitcoin as permanent, own assets.
Royalty enforcement: smart contracts based on UTXO automate transparent artists.
Decentralized storage: Music files are stored on IPFs, with metadata stored via ordinals.
Trestless trade: Atomic Swaps make direct peer-to-peer exchange possible.
Superfan -Engagement: Artists can register exclusive drops, live versions and premium content directly on the chain.

Each release is beaten like a TB20 token, which embedded royalties and rights. Artists set prices, scarcity and royalty splits at Mint, while smart contracts ensure that every resale automatically returns royalties to the makers.

A growing market

The worldwide sale of retail music is on schedule to be higher than $ 44 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $ 53 billion by 2028 (Omdia, 2024). BeatFarm is intended to capture part of this growth by offering Web3-Native E-commerce tools, giving artists and labels the opportunity to register music, live sets and exclusive fan sets while retaining a larger part of the income than with traditional platforms.

Early milestones

First Live Music Inscription: BeatFarm etched “Back to the Start” live at Token2049 Singapore directly on Bitcoin and ESC.
Yelo Partnership: access access to a catalog of Indian and Sri Lankan film scores.
Fair Inscription launch: The first rollout of Token was led directly by artists, where BeatFarm’s Community-first Ethos was cemented.
“Beatfarm gives artists the tools to control their music, make contact with their super fans and ultimately to be honestly compensated. For the first time music can live permanently on Bitcoin – where artists can possess it, fans collect it, and culture is kept forever.”

Alex Panos, co-founder of BeatFarm
Since Bitcoin cemented his role If the backbone of digital value cement, BeatFarm shows that music also belongs there – Stimuly, in an unpulent and reasonable reward. It is not only a new platform for artists, but a cultural shift for how music will be owned, traded and experienced in the Web3 era.
