For those unfamiliar, AI agents are autonomous bots that can perform specific tasks from trading to social media influencing, like the Aixbt [AIXBT] agent does on X (formerly Twitter). Currently there are launch pads for agents such as Virtual protocol [VIRTUAL] have dominated the space.
But a new niche story has emerged–’DeFAIagents. These agents can efficiently handle DeFi activities such as yield farming, swapping, on-chain trading, borrowing and borrowing across platforms.
A 25x DeFAI trading opportunity
As with the current AI agent meta, the DeFAI narrative is dominated by launch pads like Griffain. Messari research analyst Sam Ruskin noted that the sector was worth less than $1 billion and could rise 25x-50x by the end of 2025. declared,

Ruskin added that Griffain were the top three contenders and launch pads in the DeFAI segment [GRIFFAIN]Neur [NUER]and Hey Anon [ANON].
Griffain has positioned itself as the platform for agents focusing on token swaps and liquidity management. Neur has advanced and easy-to-use features that enable easier understanding of DeFi through natural language and wallet management features.
Finally, the Hey Anon platform enables token swaps and recently integrated with Aave for lending and borrowing. Due to the Aave integration, the native token ANON rose by almost 800% in a week.
This underscored the enormous risk-reward opportunities the new story could offer for risk-averse investors and traders.
