COZ awarded 525 $NEO to three independent contributors to Proof of Working 2.6, which recognizes work on multi-chain AI agent tools, reliable token acquisition infrastructure, and wallet interoperability improvements for the Neo ecosystem.
The sixth round since the program’s relaunch in January brings cumulative benefits to 4,189 $NEO throughout the period, with the program designed to reward grassroots contributions that fall outside traditional grant pathways.
Neo AI Agent adds Neo X support
Developer thermx5 was recognized for expanding the Neo AI Agent with full Neo X EVM support. The CLI-first tool maps natural language requests to on-chain operations in both Neo N3 and Neo
Merged on May 3, the Neo Writes on Neo
The agent supports an optional OpenAI or Gemini scheduler in addition to a built-in fallback for general prompts, and accepts NeoNS names instead of raw Neo N3 addresses. thermx5 is a recurring contributor to Proof of Working, previously recognized in rounds 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 for a Neo Analytics dashboard.
NeoVest recognized for on-chain vesting
Developer fireche received recognition for NeoVest, a reliable token vesting platform for NEP-17 assets on Neo N3. The tool supports cliff, linear and tiered fortress models via immutable smart contracts. Once tokens are deposited, the owner cannot withdraw early, change unlock dates, or redirect beneficiaries.
NNT previously covered NeoVest in detail alongside Fireche’s Gasetta development tracker in a standalone article. The platform remains in alpha and has not been externally audited. fireche was previously recognized in Proof of Working 2.1 for a Sign In With Neo Supabase starter kit.
FORGE expands wallet compatibility
AboimPinto was recognized for improvements to FORGE, a token launch tool with bonding curve trading and built-in tax logic. This round’s work focused on broadening wallet support and mobile readiness rather than core functionality.
The additions include WalletConnect and AppKit integration in addition to existing NeoLine support, improved flows for Neon Desktop and Neon Mobile wallets, and an Android WalletConnect proof of concept for mobile-friendly access. AboimPinto also introduced a shared wallet harness for CI testing and automated emulator coverage in GitHub Actions. The developer was previously recognized in rounds 2.3 and 2.4.
Looking ahead
The three contributions cover different layers of the ecosystem, including developer tools, financial primitives, and application access. COZ noted in the report of the round that “ecosystem progress is stronger when it spreads across different layers of use.”
Proof of Working submissions are accepted via COZ Discord. Contributions must be open source under the Apache 2.x license and cannot be funded through existing grants or contracts.
