All news is rigorously fact-checked and reviewed by leading blockchain experts and seasoned industry insiders.

  • The partnership between Google Cloud and Fetch.ai supports a shared vision for open, interoperable, agent-based AI systems.
  • Agentverse now supports the onboarding of A2A agents from Google Cloud, integrates AP2 payment flows, and will soon offer Google’s advanced AI models.

Decentralized AI platform Fetch.ai announced its partnership with the Google Cloud platform on December 8 as part of its plan to move from single-model AI interfaces to interconnected ecosystems of intelligent agents. The company said the integration will help scale the Agentverse platform and make multi-agent development accessible to a broader developer base. Both organizations reiterated a shared vision for an open and interoperable agent-based AI future.

Fetch.ai performs A2A agent onboarding via Google Cloud

Fetch.ai confirmed that Agentverse now supports the onboarding of A2A agents from the Google Cloud ecosystem. Once registered, these agents can publish capabilities, work with typed protocols, and collaborate with Fetch.ai’s uAgents. Developers can orchestrate mixed-agent workflows with defined roles and authenticated identities.

The platform’s payment protocol has also been upgraded to include AP2 flows. This system allows agents to request funds, verify receipts, and perform tasks within a single protocol cycle. Fetch.ai said the enhancement will enable applications such as metered APIs, auctions, paywall access and conditional service provision.

Fetch.ai added that developers will soon be able to use Google’s latest AI models as agent capabilities within Agentverse. Supported models include Gemini 3 for advanced reasoning, Nano Banana Pro for real-time visual understanding, and Veo 3.1 for video generation.

All models operate via typed interfaces, allowing secure composition within multi-agent environments. Commenting on the development, Humayun Sheikh, Founder and CEO of Fetch.ai said:

“Our goal is to make open agent ecosystems practical. With A2A agents running within Agentverse and AP2 supported in our payment layer, builders can combine capabilities, settle on value, and ship production systems faster.”

Fostering an open multi-agent AI ecosystem

According to Fetch.ai, Agentverse provides identity, discovery, typed protocols, and reliable message delivery, some of the key components needed for a scalable multi-agent architecture. With A2A onboarding and AP2 payments, teams can combine agents from both ecosystems, maintain auditable workflows, and accelerate the journey from prototype to production.

The company said the partnership with Google Cloud marks an important milestone as the AI industry moves toward dynamic, interoperable networks of agents operating on the open web. Fetch.ai emphasized its commitment to supporting this transition and enabling developers to build the next generation of agent-driven applications.

The Fetch.ai platform has expanded its AI capabilities since earlier this year by introducing tools like DeltaV, AgentVerse, and AI Engine. These improvements work to improve user interactions and streamline market navigation.
