Wormhole, a leading interoperability platform, is expanding its multichain ecosystem by integrating with Karak Network’s K2 blockchain, an L2 built on the OP Stack. This integration gives Karak access to liquidity and users from over 30 leading blockchain ecosystems. It will strengthen his vision of universal security. Karak is excited to include Wormhole as its first Distributed Secure Service (DSS).

Karak uses wormhole for secure cross-chain transfers
Wormhole compatibility enables secure and seamless messaging, tokens, and data exchanges between the Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Injective chains. Accordingly, Karak plans to capitalize on Wormhole to establish strong and secure trust networks from the start. This also makes the process cheaper and more convenient for new protocols.
Karak serves three primary groups including Stakers, Operators, and Developers. For Stakers, Karak gives them the opportunity to provide crypto-economic security with any asset and receive the additional rewards consisting of network fees in addition to using their own stored assets. This approach increases the benefits users receive from participating in the Staker project and encourages participation.
Partners to advance secure Blockchain solutions
Wormhole is developing two major Distributed Secure Services (DSS) on Karak. These are known as the Decentralized Validator Network for Wormhole Native Token Transfers (NTT) and the Decentralized Relay Network. A DSS is a distributed software service developed on Karak that relies on asset repossession to provide further economic cushion and service delivery capacity within the Karak ecosystem. DSS offers simple building blocks. These are very flexible and can be adapted to construct different forms of applications.
This strategic integration better enables Karak’s vision of safety for all. These features allow Wormhole to influence the future architecture of Karak by providing developers with new solutions.
