Web3 data analytics platform Dune today launched the Dune Catalyst, an enterprise-grade service designed to streamline blockchain data integrations, making data immediately available to the crypto community.
The rise of layer 2 and layer 3 networks has given rise to numerous new blockchains, creating new challenges for the community in analyzing this new flow of information. Dune Catalyst addresses this issue by facilitating easier integration with the Dune platform.
“The future is without a doubt multichain,” said Fredrik Haga, CEO and co-founder of Dune. “By providing a new data structure standard, Dune Catalyst helps growing blockchains make their data publicly accessible faster without the backlog of data indexers, which in turn helps communities grow and support the launch of new applications.”
Dune Catalyst is offered in two configurations: a fully managed integration service and a hosted self-service solution. The managed service provides comprehensive data configuration and ongoing management, while the hosted solution enables Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains to connect their data to Dune via standardized APIs.
Early adopters of Catalyst’s APIs include Degen, a layer-3 on Farcaster, and Mode Network, an Ethereum layer-2. With the recent launch of Degen on Arbitrum Orbit and Mode Network’s MODE token release, users can now access detailed data insights on the Dune platform, improving visibility into network activities.
“The recent launch of the Degen L3 has created a vibrant ecosystem of builders and users, generating record-breaking transaction volumes,” said Jacek Trocinski, founder of Degen. “We are excited to partner with Dune to unlock data analytics for our community. This gives us easy access to the latest trends and insights across the Degen chain, from dApps and tokens to native NFTs, supporting the growth of our ecosystem.”
Dune is a platform where users can create various dashboards for tracking data feeds, which are often used by research analysts to collect and share information about different blockchain ecosystems.
“Mode’s integration with Dune Catalyst gives our community immediate and deep visibility into token and network performance, enabling them to take advantage of DeFi opportunities,” concluded James Ross, Mode core contributor.
