io.net and Aethir are working together to expand the GPU infrastructure for AI Computing

Leading decentralized computing provider io.net has announced a major GPU infrastructure expansion in partnership with leading AI-focused GPU-as-a-service provider Aethir. This announcement represents a turning point in io.net’s ongoing efforts to advance the computing capabilities of blockchain and AI.

During the first phase of the deployment, more than 300 NVIDIA H100 GPUs from Aethir have been integrated into io.net’s rapidly growing network. Before the end of May, Aethir and IO will work together to deploy 1,000 H100 GPUs, tripling the combined number of H100s accessible through Web3 rivals like Akash and significantly increasing computing capacity for its customers.

Among the most powerful available today, NVIDIA H100 GPUs are designed to handle demanding activities like AI training and large-scale computer simulations with improved speed and efficiency. This advancement not only strengthens io.net’s service offering, but also strengthens the company’s position in the fiercely competitive field of decentralized computer networks.

Ahmad Shadid, CEO of io.net, stated:

“This expansion represents a significant leap forward for io.net as we continue to advance the field of decentralized computing. The additional GPU capacity will enable our growing user base – including a significant number of machine learning engineers – to tackle more complex and demanding computing tasks, in line with our commitment to continuous innovation and unparalleled UX.”

The expansion follows the recent announcement that io.net and cloud computing infrastructure company Aethir have teamed up. The two, who teamed up in April, have a combined 640,000 GPUs. Their goal is to make supercomputing capacity available locally and more affordably while simultaneously democratizing and decentralizing AI infrastructure.

Aethir CEO Daniel Wang stated:

“The ever-evolving field of AI requires more and more raw GPU power to fuel its breakthrough developments. With Aethir’s offering of NVIDIA H100s, we enable AI and machine learning companies to launch and operate breakthrough AI platforms. With our GPUs and IO’s innovative cluster solution, this collaboration unleashes a GPU powerhouse in cloud computing. This isn’t just about powering today’s AI products; it’s about enabling developers and enterprises to efficiently scale and launch tomorrow’s AI solutions.”

This specific strategic partnership combines io.net’s massive decentralized computing infrastructure with Aethir’s advanced GPU resources, including more than 4,000 advanced NVIDIA H100 GPUs.

Looking to the future, io.net is committed to continued expansion and technical advancement in the rapidly evolving field of decentralized computing. The organization wants to ensure that its advanced network can adapt to the changing demands of its customers, many of whom are looking for more affordable, scalable distributed clusters than what comparable centralized services can offer.

As the preferred choice for AI and machine learning companies, Aethir is demonstrating its commitment to decentralized GPU cloud computing by integrating a new batch of H100 GPUs with io.net’s infrastructure. The rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence is headed for exponential growth, and Aethir’s emerging decentralized cloud computing infrastructure provides the means to advance AI innovation and development on a global basis.
