EigenLabs (the big brains behind ‘resttaking’ on Ethereum) just received a check for $100 million from a16z Crypto.

Why? Our guess is that this is because:

1. They asked nicely.

2. EigenLabs’ EigenLayer recovery protocol has already generated nearly $8 billion in user investment.

   (☝️ Impressive for a project that only hit the scene a few months ago).
