Elon Musk has once again shared his thoughts on what are commonly known as NFTs. The tradable media linked to a blockchain’s non-fungible token became popular during the 2021 bull market. At the time, ‘jpegs’ were traded for millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies.
On December 27, the multi-billionaire and entrepreneur responded on his platform X (formerly Twitter). First, DogeDesigner asked if “anyone remembers NFTs,” to which Adrian Dittmann joked: “Web links to data that isn’t yours.”
All things considered, NFT technology is evolving and other solutions will proliferate over time. Enthusiasts believe there is great value in integrating media into the blockchain so that it can be stored and traded without intermediaries.
