Craig “I’m Satoshi Nakamoto” Wright – officially (and legally) turns out to be NOT Satoshi

Full story

Remember that kid from school who always talked a big game?

At our primary school it was Jarred.

One time in 5th grade, Jarred had a moment of genuine vulnerability and admitted to our group of friends:

“Guys, I have to be honest… I didn’t win gold in the 1996 Olympics – hell, I’ve never even been to Atlanta.”

To which we all responded “Yeah dude, no. We all did the calculations at the time you said it: you would have been six years old at the time.

‘The Jarred’ of the Bitcoin world is a guy known as Craig Wright, who has long claimed to be the pseudonymous creator of BTC, Satoshi Nakamoto.

The moment the words left his mouth, the entire Bitcoin community collectively shouted “buuuuull sh*****t!”

…but Craig stood by his statement.

There is one thing Craig could do to prove he was right (accidental pun, leave it in), and that would be to sign or send a transaction from one of Satoshi’s well-known Bitcoin wallets.

(But waddya knows – Craig claims he’s lost the password).

Now – what’s the best thing other than the Real Satoshi revealing himself just to put Craig in his place?

A court officially rules that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto and is not the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper.

And that’s exactly what just happened in Britain!

What a great way to start the weekend 🙂
