We are pleased to announce that Bill Friedman has joined Unstoppable Domains as General Counsel. In this role, Bill will lead the legal department and support our mission to deliver user digital identity to every person on the planet, including helping drive the Web3 Domain Alliance in its efforts to advance the development of the blockchain naming ecosystem. Bill will report to Unstoppable COO and Head of Business Development Sandy Carter.

Bill joins Unstoppable after a 15-year legal career at Cisco, most recently as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Compliance, Brand Protection and Security at Cisco. He led the company’s 70-person Corporate Compliance and Brand Protection teams and oversaw brand protection litigation. Prior to joining Cisco in 2007, he was an attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Bill holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a BA in Political Science and Government from Brown University.
