HANNOVER, Germany, June 7, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Astrall Dynamics demonstrated its Hypertron-T01 heavy-duty quadruped robot at the debut of INTERSCHUTZ 2026. Positioned as a complete, unmanned firefighting solution, the system included a live demo designed to support firefighters performing high-risk tasks in hazardous areas.

Traditional firefighting robots force an operational trade-off: high mobility with limited payload, or high water capacity with limited access to the site. The Hypertron-T01 solves this. It enters environments with high temperatures, toxic gases or structural collapse risks for active suppression and reconnaissance, allowing human operators to make strategic decisions from a safe zone.
Technical choices are aimed directly at practical firefighting needs. Thanks to its dynamic payload of 80 kg, the Hypertron-T01 can carry a high-pressure water cannon while dragging heavy supply hoses through the rubble. IP67 protection supports operation in rain, dust, mud and wet environments, while the platform is designed for a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C. An 8-hour runtime prevents the device from losing power and freezing during use, while integrated thermal imaging, gas detection and 3D LiDAR provide continuous situational awareness.
The integrated water cannon delivers a flow rate of 20 l/s with a range of 60 meters and a projection angle of 120 degrees. An advanced stabilization system ensures precise aiming while climbing 45-degree slopes or navigating narrow chemical pipelines, all controlled via secure remote methods from a safe distance.
Designed around real-world pain points, the Astrall Dynamics team is made up of frontline fire service veterans. This operational background serves as a strong anchor for credibility and proves that the hardware meets actual rescue requirements. The system has already completed bulk delivery to the China Southern Power Grid and is accepting global orders.
“Traditional four-legged robots generally have low payload and lack mobility in any terrain,” said Xinqi, head of international business at Astral dynamics. “Our four-legged robot Hypertron-T01 can transport a full complement of firefighting equipment to burning stairwells and collapsed buildings, reducing firefighters’ exposure to the most dangerous frontline environments.”
As the global rescue robotics market grows and fire departments integrate firefighting robots into standard equipment frameworks, Astrall Dynamics continues to expand its international footprint.
