Wirex, a global digital payments platform focused on stablecoin infrastructure, has announced a partnership with TRON DAO, the steward of the TRON blockchain ecosystem, to launch a TRON-native payment infrastructure. Built entirely on-chain, the solution is designed to support agentic payments, allowing applications and digital agents to independently send, receive and manage payments on the TRON network.
The new infrastructure enables TRON users to spend and transfer digital assets in everyday scenarios, including retail payments and cross-border transfers, while maintaining complete self-control.
Through the integration, Wirex connects the TRON ecosystem to the global card and banking infrastructure. This allows on-chain assets to be used through traditional payment channels, including international transfers and merchant payments, without moving money off-chain. Support for USD and EUR denominated stablecoins is included, with instant on-chain conversion and liquidity management.
