BILLOWARTS.NETWORK has launched a digital identity verification platform designed to offer a non-biometric and privacy-oriented alternative to existing verification systems, including Sam Altman’s Crypto Project, World.
The platform, which uses zero knowledge proof tech, wants to offer a scalable and safe method for verifying both human and AI identities.
The company said that more than 9,000 projects, including TIKTOK, TOP doctors and world –Previously worldcoin—Have has implemented its underlying verification framework, Circom.
Financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank and HSBC have also tested the system in proof-of-concept tests, the company said Decrypt.
The launch comes in the midst of a growing regulatory control of digital identity systems and increasing concerns about AI-driven fraud, including deepfakes, Sybil attacks and bone activities.
With the verification model of Billions.network, users can confirm their identity without storing biometric data, whereby privacy problems are tackled related to alternative systems.
“Billion creates a world where every person can be unique and personalized benefits can unlock in the AI era with verification solutions that are universally accessible and scalable,” said Evin McMullen, CEO and co-founder of Billions.network.
Unlike some biometric -based verification models, the platform does not require its own hardware and offers token -based stimuli for users.
The company said it cooperates with the Indian government to integrate its system with Aadhaar, the national identity framework of the country.
BILLOWARTS.NETWORK was developed by the team behind Privado ID, a company that specializes in institutional verification solutions.
The project was created as a polygonid, a digital identity system built on the Polygon blockchain, before it expanded to a wider verification network.
