Top US crypto exchange platform Coinbase has added President Donald Trump’s official memecoin to its listing roadmap.
In a post on the social media platform X, Coinbase announces the addition of Official Trump (TRUMP) – launched late last week – to his road map.
The addition to Coinbase’s roadmap means the crypto exchange is considering supporting the asset in the future. Coinbase uses the listing roadmap to prevent insider trading and foregrounding of tokens before they are listed on the exchange.
TRUMP is trading around $58.45 after a parabolic run-up since launch. According to facts According to CoinGecko, TRUMP’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) is around $68 billion just days after its inception.
TRUMP launched on the Solana (SOL) blockchain and quickly reached a market cap of almost $3 billion, before eventually skyrocketing to around $14.5 billion. Trump will be inaugurated today as the country’s 47th president and has promised to turn the US into a crypto-friendly nation that drives innovation within the industry.
Digital asset enthusiasts are also betting that Trump will create a Bitcoin (BTC) reserve if he is likely to do so forms one during his first 100 days on the crypto betting platform Polymarket is at 54% at the time of writing.
