With the Bitcoin halving expected to take place today, crypto enthusiasts are already starting to take positions in several altcoins. Among these are a number of coins that have shown a lot of promise when it comes to reaching the $100 price point, and this report looks at three of them.
MoonRiver (MOVR) tops the list of altcoins that will reach $100
The MoonRiver (MOVR) token has been under the radar for a while now. This is due to the altcoin’s price falling from an all-time high of $485 to $5 earlier in 2023. However, this has not eradicated the bullish narrative for the asset.
So far, as the crypto market has recovered, the MOVR token has seen one of the most significant rallies. In the days leading up to Christmas, the price would rise from around $6 to $44 within a few days, making a 700% gain during this period.
Since then, the price has since bounced back and fallen by about 50%. But considering the price is still above $20, there is a lot of promise for the coin. Given its low supply of around 11 million coins and its tendency to rise rapidly in a short period of time, MoonRiver is one of the coins that is on the verge of breaking the $100 barrier.

Litecoin (LTC) slow movement is coming to an end
The Litecoin price soared in 2023, leading up to the halving, and was among the best performing altcoins. However, once the halving was complete, the LTC price would crumble and enter a slow and steady decline. However, this has changed now that the price of the coin is rising again.
With the Bitcoin reversal, Litecoin price rises again and briefly exceeds $75 on Tuesday. The altcoin, often referred to as digital silver, could be about to see stronger rallies, especially as Bitcoin’s halving approaches, which is often a catalyst for the bull market. If this continues, LTC could easily exceed $100.
Avalanche (AVAX) is seeing an awakening
Like Solana (SOL), the Avalanche Network has undergone an awakening that has brought investors back to the chain. As a result, the AVAX price has risen, from a 2023 low of around $9 to a high of $47 in December 2023.
As the new year dawned, the Avalanche Network continued to enjoy the attention of crypto investors and this helped it maintain its bullish momentum. Like MoonRiver (MOVR) and Litceoin (LTC), Avalanche (AVAX) is another token expected to cross the $100 mark.
