  • Her proposal was supported by interest groups in the top industry.

The US Senator Cynthia Lummis has proposed an amendment to offer tax reduction to crypto traders and Bitcoin [BTC] miners.

“I am working on an OBBB amendment to ensure that Americans can use digital assets without fear of tax violations. More soon!”

Republicans in the Senate push the controversial reconciliation law known as the OBBB, or ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’.

Currently, the debate bill as legislators is making proposals and voting over the key changes Prior to a floor voice planned before July 4.

“Miners and strikers are taxed twice”

Lummis denied the current tax regime for ‘double taxation’ of crypto, miners and validator operators. She stated”

“For years, miners and strikers have been taxed twice. Once when they receive block rewards, and again when they sell it.”

She added that it is “time to stop unfair tax treatment” to make the vision of President Donald Trump to make America the BTC and Crypto -Supperkracht of the world.
