HANOVER, Germany, June 7, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Astrall Dynamics demonstrated its Hypertron-T01 heavy-duty four-legged robot at INTERSCHUTZ 2026, demonstrating a complete, unmanned firefighting solution designed to support firefighters performing high-risk tasks in hazardous zones.

In active fire scenarios, traditional robotic systems often force a critical operational trade-off: high mobility with limited payload, or high water capacity with limited site access. The four-legged robot Hypertron-T01 solves this gap. It is designed to enter environments that involve high temperatures, toxic gases, or risks of structural collapse for active suppression and reconnaissance. This allows human operators to stay in a safe zone and make strategic decisions based on real-time data.
Thanks to a dynamic payload of 80 kg, the Hypertron-T01 can carry a high-pressure water cannon while dragging heavy supply hoses through complex debris. IP67 protection supports operation in rain, dust, mud and wet environments, while the platform is designed for a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C. An 8-hour runtime prevents the unit from losing power and freezing during use, while integrated thermal imaging, gas detection and 3D LiDAR provide continuous situational awareness to remote operators.
The integrated water cannon delivers a flow rate of 20 l/s with a range of 60 meters and a projection angle of 120 degrees. An advanced body stabilization system ensures effective firefighting while climbing 45-degree slopes or navigating narrow chemical pipelines, all controlled via safe remote methods from a safe distance.
Designed around real-world pain points, Astrall Dynamics’ product development team is made up of frontline fire service veterans. The system has already completed bulk delivery to the China Southern Power Grid and is currently accepting global orders.
“Traditional four-legged robots usually have low payload and lack mobility on any terrain,” said Xinqi, head of international business at Astrall Dynamics. “Our four-legged robot Hypertron-T01 can transport a full complement of firefighting equipment to burning stairwells and collapsed buildings, reducing firefighters’ exposure to the most dangerous frontline environments.”
As the global rescue robotics market grows and fire departments integrate firefighting robots into standard equipment frameworks, Astral dynamics continues to expand its international footprint.
