Solana, Hyperliquid and Tron take the lead

LunarCrush, a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze digital assets like cryptocurrencies, has revealed the list of Top 15 blockchains that generated revenue in the year 2025. In the given list, Solana blockchain leads all blockchains with 39.8 million active addresses along with a total value locked (TVL) of $17.3 billion and has successfully generated revenue of $1.4 billion.

Hyperliquid is the runner-up in this race with a TVL of $2.0 billion and also shows significant revenue growth, which is about $814 million, and has 292.7K active addresses in the year 2025. Next is Tron, which shows a very good growth in TVL compared to the Hyperliquid, about $4.4 billion, and has 16.8 million active addresses with a revenue of $607 million. Phoenix Group announced this news via its official X account.

BNB Chain’s 60 million active addresses, scale without huge TVL

Ethereum is in fourth position with 9.3 million active addresses, along with $524 million in revenue generated and a TVL of $109.6 billion in 2025. Then comes BNB Chain with $256 million in revenue and a TVL of $7.9 billion. BNB Chain is the only blockchain from the given list with a registered value of 60.0 million active addresses. Additionally, Base blockchain comes with 8.7 million active addresses, $76.3 million in revenue generation, and a TVL of $4.3 billion.

Axelar blockchain appeared with the smallest value of 5.6K in the perspective of active addresses and had a TVL of $213.8M with $56.8M in generated revenue. Bittensor holds a central position in the given blockchains and has successfully generated $33.4 million in revenue. Furthermore, OP Mainnet has active addresses of 501.9K and a TVL of $288.2 million and is delivering very little revenue growth at $21.6 million.

Arbitrum’s 4 million active addresses versus revenue reality

Sui blockchain can get the 10th position in the given list of blockchains that performed well in the year 2025 in three aspects, namely active addresses, TVL and revenue. Sui blockchain appears on the list with a TVL of $1.1 billion and can successfully generate $18.8 million in revenue. Furthermore, the Arbitrum blockchain can generate revenues of $16.3 million with a TVL of $2.8 billion and will have a crowd of 4.0 million active addresses by 2025.

ICP blockchain has a TVL of $20.1 million and is barely able to generate revenue of $10.5 million, which is the lowest compared to the previously discussed blockchains. Avalanche blockchain ranks last third in the list of active addresses of 432.6K and has a TCL of $1.5 billion, along with revenue of $8.3 million.

Injective blockchain is barely able to regain its position in the list, although it is in the penultimate position with a TVL of $30.6 million and 138.7K active addresses with a turnover of $6.0 million. Last but not least, Polygon blockchain took the last position in the race of blockchains in 2025. Polygon has the least figure of $5.5 million in revenue generation and has a TVL of $1.1 billion with 14.2 million active addresses.
