Jasmy has released details about the first phase of his collaboration with Panasonic Advanced Technology Co., Ltd., a prefecture agency of Osaka with expertise in IoT systems. The partnership, which started in February 2024, aims to develop a platform that integrates personal data with information from connected devices using blockchain technology.
This report highlights extensions to Jasmy’s Personal Data Locker (PDL), the release of development tools and initial applications in the involvement of health and sports fanes, as part of the efforts to make safe data management possible.
Details of the collaboration
The collaboration with Panasonic Advanced Technology, announced in March 2024, focuses on creating a web3 IoT platform that links personal and device data under high security standards. Panasonic contributes the IoT knowledge and development opportunities, while Jasmy Blockchain offers infrastructure, including the PDL.

In the first phase, Jasmy has expanded PDL functions with a smartphone app for iOS and Android, with personal authentication via the Mijn Nummerkaart system of Japan. This function makes strict identity verification possible by reading the cards directly. In addition, an authority delegation function was added, allowing users to transfer the rights of data use without losing general control. The PDL now treats time series of IoT devices and processes streams efficiently and safely.
Jasmy released an IoT Software Development Kit (SDK) in June 2025, available on his developer site on https://developer.jasmy.co.jp/. This kit supports the integration of the PDL with smartphone and PC applications, so that the connectivity for developers is simplified.
An important output is the Jasmy Base app, a smartphone framework that makes the addition of sub apps possible. It manages personal information in linking to the PDL and offers access to various Jasmy platform functions. This app has been tested in a health promoting desking rally proof-of-concept (POC), in which hundreds of participants are involved for several months. The POC uses data generated by smartphone to follow and encourage physical activity.
The collaboration also extends to the Sagan Tosu fan Token Project, called “Sagatsu!”. This service builds on the Jasmy Base app by including blockchain-based coupons, points and dynamic NFTs For membership cards. These functions make fan -engagement possible through safe, tokenized rewards and digital collective objects, which promotes a deeper connection between fans and their favorite content.
Future plans for platform expansion
Jasmy and Panasonic are planning to promote the Jasmy Base app in Japanese municipalities, companies and schools to achieve broader acceptance. The companies will continue their joint efforts to improve the core functions of the app and further develop the platform. This includes using their combined expertise to support national rollout in Japan, with potential for a global scale.
The integration is in line with the Japanese Society 5.0 initiative, which promotes the use of AI, IoT and Blockchain to create a very intelligent society. The Japanese government has shifted to supporting web3 policy and helps projects such as this.
Jasmy has also pursued other partnerships. In 2025 it collaborated with Chain link for cross chain Interoperability and with Panasonic on pilots for generating data from industrial equipment. These efforts are intended to improve the usefulness of the platform in various IoT applications.
The global IoT sector is expected to connect 40 billion devices in 2030, which increases the need for safe data management systems such as the Jasmy platform.
Conclusion
The collaboration of Jasmy with Panasonic shows opportunities for integrating blockchain with IoT for safe data processing, as seen in PDL improvements, SDK releases and POC applications. The focus of the platform on data management controlled by users merges with important challenges in the growing IoT landscape, supported by partnerships and coordination with government policy. This positions Jasmy to contribute to data security in connected environments and to emphasize practical implementations in relation to speculative profit.
