Aura Network unveils Aura EVM to bring new capabilities to Web3 developers

Aura Network, an L1 that provides open infrastructure using modular technology stacks, has announced a new project. The platform is reportedly unveiling Aura EVM to expand developer enablement capabilities and increase adoption in the Web3 sector. On its official X account, the company announced insights into the project.

Aura Network releases Aura EVM to empower Web3 developers

It noted in its recent X-post that the company is deeply focused on non-fungible tokens and broad-level adoption solutions. It added that the platform is a pioneer in local account abstraction and has established a resilient infrastructure. With that in mind, Aura Network is bringing its advanced 2^NL phase. In this regard, it plans to accelerate Web3’s progress with the adoption of Ethermiint Virtual Machine.

The EVM is reportedly operating as a prominent smart contract device worldwide. With this development it has become compatible with the EVM. The respective upgrade signals a huge shift in the platform’s journey. It turns Aura into an interoperable and permissionless general-purpose layer. As a result, it now supports both the EVM and CosmWasm smart contracts.

The company pointed out its commitment to offering an exclusive system message type for encapsulating the EVM messages. This enables their compatibility with Cosmos-based messaging. The EVM compatibility allows the integration of DApps with Aura. These decentralized applications operate under well-known crypto companies such as Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and so on.

The project’s interoperability enables a broad deployment environment for developers

The interoperability provides convenience to the developers. Therefore, they can now select a preferred atmosphere for deployment. Despite the availability of several EVM-compatible chains, Aura’s advanced modular architecture offers more benefits to the developers. It offers them more space to optimize Aura and make it distinctive.
