NFTScan announces support for Scroll Network for Explorer and API Services following the launch of Mainnet

Two days after launching the Scroll Network Mainnet, the world’s largest NFT data infrastructure, NFTScan, has announced its support for the Scroll Network through its critically acclaimed Explorer and API services. Users now have the effortless ability to navigate and retrieve on-chain information for any NFT asset within the Scroll Mainnet via Scroll NFTScan. Additionally, developers working on Scroll can now leverage the extensive NFT APIs offered by NFTScan, seamlessly integrating advanced features into their projects.

NFTScan Unveils Scroll NFTScan for Efficiency in NFT Data Search

In a significant step toward improving the NFT landscape, NFTScan Scroll has rolled out NFTScan, a specialized platform designed to streamline the search and retrieval of NFT data for both developers and users within the Scroll ecosystem.

NFTScan, known as a leading multi-chain NFT data service provider, has expanded its support to Scroll, marking it as the 19th blockchain network to integrate with its services. This integration follows previous collaborations with high-profile blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNBChain and Solana.

As of October 19, 2023, Scroll’s growing network has witnessed the issuance of a whopping 71,484 NFT assets, accompanied by the creation of 519 unique NFT collections. These developments have collectively led to 78,015 on-chain transactions, with 13,715 wallet addresses currently holding NFT assets.

The newly released Scroll NFTScan Explorer is poised to revolutionize user interaction with NFTs. It offers a long list of features including Trading, Minting, Gas Tracker and Ranking sections. This platform allows users to dig into on-chain data of NFT assets within the Scroll network, providing frictionless access and clarity. Additionally, it facilitates precise queries about NFT asset data and transaction history linked to individual wallet addresses.

Robust NFT API data services for scrolling

In addition to these user-facing services, the NFTScan Developer Platform has unveiled its NFT API data services specifically for the Scroll network. This launch introduces multiple API query interfaces designed to meet a wide range of indexing requirements relevant to Scroll NFT data. Developers active in the NFT and Web3 arenas are invited to use the zkSync NFT API data services. This resource is integral for those looking to build DApps and protocols on the Scroll network.

Scroll, an emerging player in zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) technologies focused on blockchain scalability, announced the release of its mainnet on October 17.

The Scroll team highlighted the simplicity of this migration process, stating that “everything functions seamlessly with no additional adjustments required.” This implies that Scroll’s move to mainnet provides a plug-and-play solution for those looking for improved blockchain scalability via zkEVM technology.

Based on information from the block explorer, Scroll’s testnet has recorded more than 900,000 active wallet addresses and recorded approximately seven million transactions since August. This mainnet launch follows a year of rigorous testing, during which the testnet has collected an impressive number of over 55 million transactions.

The Scroll team is currently in the research phase for its decentralized prover network and decentralized sequencer. This means that the protocol paves the way for permissionless batch publishing at the base layer, even in the event of a sequencer shutdown.

Peng, one of the team members, said: “In the medium term, our goal is to minimize the chance of sequencer shutdown through decentralization.”

While Scroll currently allows upgrades via a multi-signature wallet under the control of the core team, plans are in the works to introduce a Security Council and deferred upgrade mechanism. This means that protocol upgrades will only be possible with Security Council approval, and the multi-signature team will have exclusive capacity to initiate these delayed upgrades, as explained by Peng.
