- Worldcoin has distributed some of its tokens to eight new addresses.
- Despite allowing reservations, WLD circulation declined.
According to Arkham Intelligence, Worldcoin [WLD] has resumed distribution of its tokens. The blockchain, whose fundamentals correspond to a unique approach to global identity and a universal basic income system, sent 90 million WLDs to eight separate addresses.

Based on facts of the crypto analytics platform, one of the beneficiaries was the liquidated hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC). The recent release means that Worldcoin has a total of 248 million WLDs distributed across 26 different wallets.
Though the move reflects the project’s commitment to ratify individuals around the world, Arkham also showed that his official wallet had a balance of 1.25 billion WLDs.
Interestingly, the token distribution coincided with the period when Worldcoin announced that WorldApp users could now reserve WLD tokens. According to Worldcoin, WorldApp users can reserve the tokens even if their WorldID has not been verified.
To verify WorldIDs, users must visit the Orb, Worldcoin’s eye-scanning technology center in their country. But at the time of writing, the Orb was not there yet available in different countries around the world.
And comments from the Twitter page showed that users were happy about the unavailability. Despite the announcement, Worldcoin’s network growth resisted improvement. At the time of writing, Santiment showed that the network’s growth had fallen to 2,159.
Decreasing traction and circulation
Network growth shows the number of new addresses joining a network. When the statistic increases, it implies greater acceptance. But if it falls, it means that the project is not getting enough traction.
So in the case of Worldcoin, the growth of the network means that WLD adoption has moved at a slower pace.
Like the network’s growth, its seven-day circulation also fell to 10.53 million. Circulation shows the number of unique coins/tokens used in a given period. Moreover, if a token changes hands more than once within a day, it means it has been distributed once.
The decrease therefore means that fewer WLDs have been used in the past seven days. At worst, the same set of addresses have been involved in WLD handling on a daily basis.
Realistic or not, here it is WLD’s market cap in terms of BTC
Furthermore, the condition of it is weighed sentiment did not change from that of the network growth circulation. Weighted Sentiment combines positive and negative commentary about an asset based on unique social volume.
If the metric is positive, it means the average perception around the asset smacks of optimism. Thus, WLD’s weighted sentiment at -0.254 implies that the negative polarity against the token was strong.
