DIA’s Oracle Goes Live on LitecoinVM to Power DeFi on L2 Chain

As part of its efforts to enable the secure development of DeFi applications on its Web3 ecosystem, LitecoinVM, a Layer-2 solution designed to bring smart contracts and EVM compatibility to the Litecoin blockchain, today entered into a strategic partnership with DIA Oracles, a trusted blockchain oracle platform that provides verifiable data feeds to on-chain applications.

LitecoinVM is an EVM-compatible, zero-knowledge layer-2 rollup built on Litecoin, designed to bring smart contract functionality, DeFi tools, and real-world asset tokenization to the Litecoin blockchain, which previously lacked these capabilities.

The above collaboration enabled LitecoinVM to integrate the DIA open-source oracle infrastructure, allowing DApps (decentralized applications) and related development activities on the layer-2 network to access reliable data feeds that are widely used in DeFi.

DIA oracles are live on @LitecoinVM.

Why LitecoinVM integrates DIA oracles

With the integration of DIA oracles, LitecoinVM solves the common fundamental challenge: the inability of smart contracts to natively access off-chain data (data that exists outside the blockchain environment). In order for DApps on the LitecoinVM and interconnected chains to operate efficiently and fully unlock their capabilities in areas such as DeFi, NFTs, gaming, RWA, and several other Web3 tools, they need to have access to real-world data. This is the role that DIA oracles come to play in LitecoinVM.

The integration of DIA oracles on the layer-2 network allows Litecoin developers to bring real-world data into LitecoinVM smart contracts, improving the functionality and utility of their DApps. The DIA Oracle integration ensures that DApps on the LitecoinVM layer have access to reliable, real-world data feeds.

Building robust DeFi applications for user experience

The infusion of DIA oracles into LitecoinVM smart contracts unleashes a huge variety of possibilities for Litecoin developers. This allows them to access real-world data and also extend the functionality of LitecoinVM smart contracts beyond purely on-chain operations, seamlessly and securely bringing real-world events into decentralized applications in the Litecoin DeFi ecosystem. This technical integration enables developers to build powerful,>Developers building DeFi platforms. $NFT assets and various Web3 applications require real-time data, which explains why the DIA oracle integration is crucial for strong, real-world functionalities of DApps on LitecoinVM. Taking advantage of the DIA oracle solution, LitecoinVM brings their DApps to life with reliable data feeds.
