Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, has extended its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and data flows to The Open Network (TON), connecting TON to the global multi-chain economy. The integration makes Chainlink the canonical cross-chain infrastructure for Toncoin (TON), enabling secure movement of Toncoin between TON and more than 60 other blockchain networks using the Chainlink Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard.
This connection allows assets and protocols already using CCIP to be extended to TON, creating new liquidity opportunities and user access across the growing Web3 landscape. It positions TON as a connected ecosystem where tokens and protocols can move seamlessly between chains.
Chainlink is also bringing its Data Streams infrastructure to TON, delivering low-latency market data for decentralized finance applications. This enables sub-second price updates and verifiable data sourced from global liquidity providers, supporting more responsive and reliable trading and lending on TON.
